They are fully capable of making life changing decisions that will lead them on a path worth traveling. I hope to inspire precious girls to seek God’s direction for their lives and not let the fear of failure rule over them. Instead, I want to encourage them to seek positive people to influence them and help them reach their goals, being ever mindful that God is greater than any of their circumstances.

I mentioned I’m a Gemini right? I will talk about various things from relationships to baby daddies to celebs to hair care to sex tips to Black power. It’s never a boring day over here🙂. Chronicles of Zauba'ah

About the Author

As a young child, Tosin Coker developed a passion for literacy and writing, driven by her curiosity of what lay in the leaves of the books that kept her mother so enchanted. A foundation of reading and storytelling established, she passionately embarked upon quenching her awakened thirst for books, fiction and non-fiction alike, ever-anticipating weekly visits to her local library with her beloved co-conspirator. It was her mother that acknowledged her predestined future as a writer, at least two decades before Tosin actively bore testimony to it herself, when in 2007 she penned her first novel, unwittingly becoming acclaimed as the first female, African British science fiction author.

Tosin has since been interviewed and featured as a leading expert in the genre of black science fiction including as a panelist in London Southbank's Africa in Science Fiction and Africa Utopia segment on Afrofuturism. Her work has also been featured in Litro Magazine #137 Future Fashions edition.

About the Book

Zauba'ah; a N9nth Degree Warrior Scientist of galactic accolade, is charged with the mission of incarnating in the form of an adolescent girl, in order to pass judgement on the human race. Events that took place during her occupation led to the onset of an intergalactic war of such magnitude that it went down in the history of her collective as Heaven's War. How did she earn the status of an elite goddess of biblical proportions endowed with the right to judge? Simple, like you and I, she was born with a gift and a purpose and used the two to earn it. This is her story.

Chronicles of Zauba'ah is the long awaited prequel to the current quadrilogy of books, The Mouth of Babes, Let Sleeping Gods Lie, Heaven's War: The God Awakened and 2013 Evolution.

“This is actually the first adult novel I have published in three years,” explains Coker. “I took the time out to write a series of dual-language children’s books – but it was time well spent, as I wanted to release something truly epic, and you can’t write books like that overnight! I forged my reputation on high-quality, intricate fiction unlike anything else on the market, so I didn’t want to risk that reputation for the sake of speed.”

Continuing, “I suppose this is the book that I have always wanted to write, and it comes eight years after I released the first volume in the series. Shortly after my author debut, I was told that so few of our race wrote books in the genre, for not being able to see ourselves in the future, thus we neglect to write ourselves into it. This book serves not only to write us into the future, but into and amongst the vast multiverses. Thankfully, I’ve built up a very loyal band of dedicated fans, and hope that this latest and final installment in the five book saga, brings them everything they are looking for.”

Perfectly Brown

About the Author

Dr. Jobyna Terry is a native of Halifax, Virginia, where she grew up on a farm. She discovered she had a knack for writing at a young age. As an elementary student, she wrote short stories for an in-class competition, which was started by her teacher Mrs. Royster. In her teenage years, she wrote songs and poetry. After completing high school, she went on to attend Norfolk State University, as a Business Management major, in Norfolk, Virginia. At Norfolk State University, she worked with Norfolk Public School as a mentor to young girls and conducted a campus-wide clothing drive for Battered Women and Children's shelter.

She then went on to pursue her dream to become an attorney and attended the Charlotte School of Law. During law school, Dr. Terry's writing style changed a bit to become more concise, but it did not change the passion she had for writing. She always had a passion for story telling which is why it came easy in certain classes. After graduating law school, she decided to tackle another conquest that was needed in the African-American household. Dr. Terry decided to write Perfectly Brown after taking her Goddaughter, Tynizha, to the library and noticing there were no brown children in the books. She started on her quest to encourage black children to read about themselves, but show them that black families exist. Her next project called "Just Justice" will reflect blended families.
