Lucie B Lindner, 49, a native New Yorker, is the founder and owner of Lucie B Jump N Fun, a unique business that brings the joy and art of competitive jump roping to thousands of kids from New York City to Sweden. She has recently started her second business baby called F3G by Lucie B, a girl-empowerment program whose mission is to empower, inspire, and motivate girls to be fit, fab, and fierce.
Lucie began a career in medicine, but walked away to pursue her passion for jump roping. She wanted to transform her talent into something that could bring benefit and joy to kids all over the world. She went from being an M.D. to a professional jump roper, winning numerous Regional, National, and World Championships. She created the first Jump Rope Gym for Kids in New York, " Lucie B's Jump N Fun" and the first single rope speed competitive jump rope team in New York called The" Rock-It-Ropers". The team members went on to win numerous awards and championships. The first group in the team was comprised of 52 orthodox Jewish kids, and later Lucie B diversified her team to include all races, colors, creeds, nationalities, and ages.She currently runs her popular Jump Rope programs in schools in Stockholm,Sweden and Summer camps in New York. Lucie B has been featured in numerous newspapers, TV news, Radio Disney and recently featured in the June edition of "Live Happy Magazine".
In 2007, Lucie B was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. At that time, her doctors told her she would be in a wheelchair in less than a year. But Lucie's resilient nature defied it all. She was determined to not be beaten by MS.
Nine years later, Lucie is still standing strong! In 2014, she married the love of her life and moved to Sweden. Her super power lies in her passion to motivate and inspire all those who believe they cannot achieve their dreams. She is proof that they can!
