About the Author
Deborah L. Parker is a speaker, author, veteran, and cancer survivor who sees herself as using the wits and gifts that God gave her to be of service to others. Through her company The DPJ Training Group, she specializes in conducting seminars on leadership, diversity and personal growth for public and private sector audiences. Deborah has published 4 books on those same topics, which include poignant narratives from the setbacks and successes of her own life. A Virginia native, she is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and enjoys travel, long walks and reading.
